Dear Respected Members of the Malaysian Arthroscopy Society,

It is with great pleasure that I extend my warmest welcome to each of you as we embark on the journey towards our 11^th Annual Scientific Meeting and Annual General Meeting. As your President, I am honoured to lead this society into this milestone event, marking yet another year of advancement and excellence in the field of sports surgery and arthroscopy.

I would like to take this opportunity to express my deepest gratitude to the Organizing and Scientific Committee Members for their unwavering dedication and tireless efforts in shaping this year's conference. Their commitment and hard work have been instrumental in ensuring that this event promises to be a memorable and enriching experience for all attendees.

As we gather in Johore Baharu from the 7^th to the 9^th of November 2024, I am optimistic that our Annual Scientific Meeting will serve as a platform to foster meaningful exchanges of knowledge, insights, and experience in managing sports injuries all over the country. I urge each member to actively participate in this event, not only in terms of delegate numbers but also through enthusiastic program attendance, scientific paper submissions, and engagement during the scientific sessions as well as during our AGM.

Together, let us seize this opportunity to celebrate our collective achievements, learn from one another, and chart the course for the future of arthroscopy in Malaysia.

A warm welcome to all! As the Organising Chairman, I am enamoured by the faith of our honorable President in entrusting me with this monumentous task.

2024 marks the entry of Malaysian Arthroscopy Society (MAS) to the second decade of existence since its inaugural launch on the 19^th March, 2013.

We hope to continue the great progress of the past decade and would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our members and industry partners for your contributions in all the varied ways and methods, building the Society to its current state.

Latching on to the theme of the previous ASM, we present with great glee, the 11^th Malaysian Arthroscopy Society Annual Scientific Meeting (11^th MAS ASM 2024) which will be held at Renaissance Hotel Johor Bahru from 6^th to 9^th November 2024, the first MAS ASM at the Southern State of Johor which I am proud to say is my home State. The theme, "Re-hing-ing the Knee - Optimizing Care in Knee Surgery and Rehabilitation," reflects our unwavering dedication to continue pushing the boundaries and advancing further in patient care as we charge ahead into the next 10 years and beyond.

Our committee has endeavoured to organize a wholesome mix of topics to make this a potential blockbuster event. We have planned other sessions such as an exciting pre-congress event programme and visits to the sporting stadiums and sporting rehabilitation centres in Johor Bahru. In clinical practice, we learn every day. We learn from colleagues, we learn from patients and last but not the least, we learn from both our successes and mistakes. The meeting is going to be in-person, as we all appreciate the importance of networking and socialising with all stakeholders to learn and progress together as one cohesive unit.
